I've been working on the short n sweet pattern, and I am stuck! I am working on the right front and row 8 in the pattern it says "attach a separate strand of yarn in first st in row 8, ch3. Fasten off strand. I just wanted to make sure that the strand I am attaching is the strand I am fastening off. It seems trivial but this is my first piece of clothing I've crocheted and I really don't want to mess this up!

Yes---after you attach the yarn, and chain three, that is the one you fasten off.  As you work the row, you'll work into that chain 3--it helps shape the front! Smiley

I took up running so that I could eat more, not because it feels good.  haha
