I received today. the lovely package from SoonFamo-Artiste arrived at exact the right moment to cheer me up, because i have to give a lecture at my university tomorrow and I'm very nervous and not nearly ready.
anyway, I really like anything and I promise to post pictures tomorrow, along with some pics of the marilyn manson concert for SoulAssylum

I finally got my camara back, now only if I can find the attachment to the computer and the battery charger, than I will be in business, lol, and then I will be able to post pics too.

Okay, my original partner fell off the planet *after* I had already made a bunch of stuff for the band she picked (The Cure), and so my replacement partner said Cure stuff was okay.  Justapieceofme also likes BNL with me and is going on the cruise, so I sent along a few other things, but I forgot to get a photo of everything, so here's what had been made for The Cure (that I have photos of):


A cellphone charm, UK flag earrings, and a charm bracelet that has the logos/icons from the Cure's website on it.

I also had made a t-shirt, but it would have been the wrong size for justapieceofme, so I re-printed the iron-ons and sent them for her to put on her own shirt since I couldn't find a shirt in her size.

for the BNL stuff, I made a countdown to the cruise calendar, and I decorated a travel mug with her cabin number (badly since I was doing it while wearing a finger splint!).

I hope it all arrived safely and she likes it!

I got my angel package from mamaedgar today. I love it when we have a substitute postal person, because he actually brings packages to our door.  Anyway.

My band is BNL. I love BNL so much, I'm headed out in about 17 days to be on a cruise ship with them for five days

here's what I got. Pardon the lighting. It's an overcast day, and I broke my overhead light, so I'm dealing with just using a regular lamp:



She took the cover art from Barenaked Ladies are Me, Barenaked Ladies are Men,and Talk to the Hand: Live in Michigan and made a collage-y notebook - perfect for me to take on the cruise to keep track of everything I do! 

She also sent me a necklace with matching earrings and she made the beads with images from the covers of the CDs  - My favorites are the ones with the Michigan mitten!

And the last item was a lobster plushie created off the lobster on the front of BLAMEN
