Hey GIJane--sorry for the delay in response (I was away).  It's embroidery.  But it didn't take too long. The flowers are wee buttions, and were very fun to do.  I finished the whole thing in about the time it took to watch a movie.

I "roughly" used this to make an ipod case for a swap. I think it turned out pretty cute:

In this picture, is that a snap?? and how did you do it??? I want to make one for my lil sis, who is 11 and just got her first cell phone, I used to have some store bought but can't find them now, so I promised her I would make her one.

This pattern is way cute! And so incredibly simple. (Thanks for the tutorial!) I just whipped one up to match the Chelsea bag I made yesterday. I'm making another in the large floral fabric (on the outside of the bag), but I'm going to embellish it with sequins, so it'll take me a bit longer.
