This was my first time trying something like this, and I am pretty pleased with it! It was really quick to make... I also added a snap instead of using velcro:

Attached to my handbag:

I am happy to not have to dig in my purse anymore when my phone rings! Thanks so much, Lara!

Woah.  I'm in love with this idea, and I'm not afraid to admit it.  So many purses, and no cell phone holders..... peh.  I'll definitly be making one of these for my next duct tape adventure.
Don't you love how the simplest ideas can often be the most useful and creative?  You have a mind to be reckoned with.

Hey! Finally a cozy I can make myself with minimum effort! I have a little bit 'o' fabric reserved for it, anyways Smiley

That is too perfect!

I am getting a cell phone tomorrow (I was the only one I knew who didn't have one yet!) and since I change purses every few days this will be perfect. Plus I can take it off if I decide to leave my sell at home.

Kudos, very clever of you, not to mention cute!

Very cute!  Thanks for the tutorial.

I just made three of these as gifts for my son's teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week.   I did one myself, and he then drew some monsters on felt that I used.. No pinking shears (yet), but I think they turned out okay.
