i fell in love with the color of the yarn (it's a bit brighter than in the photos) and i don't know why i decided to make a poncho! this is my first huge knitting project, feel free to tell me what you think...

the line down the middle isn't knit wrong it's just a bit twisted in the photo cause i didn't bother to check in the mirror!

it GORGEOUS! i love it (but then again, i am a poncho fan) such beautiful work and a great color.
i live in my poncho - it's like snuggling up in a blanket all the time.
what pattern did you use? and what yarn? it looks like mohair. how long did it take you?
well done!

thank you for the feedback...
yes it is mohair, and the pattern is the Lorette Lynn poncho from the Berroco website, however i haven't followed the exact pattern, and it took me 4 days to knit, i know that's not very quick but i only get a chance to knit in the evenings after work.

It looks beautiful. For that size of project, four days isn't bad work.

Where is the pattern?  I tried to look for it on their website, but couldn't find it...
I'm starting to feel the poncho bug too.  I have this feeling though, that as soon as I put the time, effort, and yarn into one, the fashion trend would be over.... Embarrassed  ...but that's not going to stop me from making some arm warmers.  Grin

Lani this a link to the pattern, however please don't be shocked that mine doesn't resemble it that much...
