Painted wine bottle with charm

I really like the way this came out, I basically just swirled some paint inside the bottle and turned it upside down for a few days and this is what came of all of it, Im giving it to my sister for Christmas! 

(P.S. ignore R2D2 and Buddha, lol  this is the best light i have right now.)

I never thought of that! I love it! I have regular bottles on my shelves with paint brushes and such in it. I'll have to give this a try!

That's very pretty!  Did you use glass paint or regular old acrylic?

I just used acrylic, I wasnt really expecting anything to work out, I was just bored and Ive had that bottle forever and figured it couldnt hurt to ruin it (although we see that wasnt the case!). 

Im thinking next time Im going to look into paint and make sure its suitable for a vase, if its possible.

I actually saw a booth at a craft fair with all kinds of vases done like this.  I always wanted to try it out. Yours looks sooo good!  I think the ones at the fair were sealed on the inside with something... I can't remember what...

So purty! Were there any parts of the glass that didn't get covered? I would be worried about that if I tried

I didnt have too much trouble with uncovered spots...the white is what gave me the most trouble, it seemed to 'crackle' while drying so there are less opaque spots, but i still like it.
