I made this lapghan from yarn that my best friend Heather left behind when she moved last May.  She had borrowed my Crochet for Dummies book and was teaching herself to crochet and left her WIP with me.  The strip she had done needed to be frogged and then it became this, which will always remind me of her!  (All pictures are clickable for larger views!)

Pre-blocking on my bed, and it probably won't be blocked.  It is mine to sit under and I am not picky!!

That is really pretty, I LOVE the blueberry pie, such a pretty varation of colors.  I have a blanket/lapghan that I have been working on for a long long time.  I take leftover scraps from blankets and things that I have made for other people, and I am just making one giant granny square.  It also has a fair amount of yarn that was my mom's before she died.  That way each part of the blanket reminds me of someone I care about.  it is getting big enough now that I can only really work on it when it is cold outside.
