There is one in Amy Karols book Bend The Rules Sewing. Its the Simple Tote. Good luck!


yeh I've made the Amy Karol one but I made it with equal handles - i don't think that shape of tote works with uneven handles IMO. The one in this thread was a tear-drop shaped one as you can see in the pictures.

Hey: sometime last year, "Quilts and more", a specialty magazine from Better Homes and Gardens put an article featuring this very bag. It's also a pattern available from Vogue Patterns.
I recognize it because I tore out the pattern and the instructions from "Quilts and More" myself. I've been ... uh ... meaning to make this one for my sister in law. (the road to where is paved with good intentions?)  I'll be getting onto it right quick now.

do it its super easy! - i got the pattern out of an Australian edition of Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

You could probably contact BHG for a reprint of the pattern page.  They might charge a small fee for mailing and possibly for printing.  Or You could ask for a copy of the whole magazine itself, also for the cost of the mag and postage.
