we were discussing this in another thread, and I was told to add the suggestion:

Could we have a column added to the swap feedback area for swap partner?  Not for adding feedback on the partner or anything like that, just so that future organizers can see who you've been partnered with in the past on swaps so they don't accidentally pair you with someone you just recently swapped with.

It would definitely save a ton of PMs going to organizers with "so and so signed up and I just was paired with them, please don't pair me with them"!

I think it also could help in future swaps if you want to see what a person made, since the photos of their completed projects are posted by their partner.  You could search for the post by their partner's name Smiley

Completely agree with this. I think it could be valuable to have swapper feedback since they are dealing directly with each other.

Oh, that's not my suggestion, sorry.  I just want the column listing WHO you were partnered with. I think there's a thread or a discussion somewhere about giving partners the ability to rate each other somewhere, but all I'd like is to list who people's partners were so that in the future you know who they were partnered with.

I really like this idea. It would be so useful for swaps where there are a few rounds of the same (e.g. Tree, Tree 1, Tree 2 etc) so you can easily see who's swapped with whom in the past. Without having to check through the posts.

Excellent point, Phizzy!  I think to be used as a stalking and organising tool, this "extra" would be great!

this would be totally great for regular swaps for sure! we would just need to make it an optional addition to the feedback form as ongoing swaps have multiple partners....or also, for round robin type partnering.....a free form spot would probably work the best so that you could potentially comment with "sent to swapperA, rec'd from swapperB" etc.

Agreed, swaps often get an odd number so there's just one group of three when everyone else is paired.

Although I must say the current A --> B --> C --> A in use everybody seems to get right away. I don't see a need for organizers to have to write novels in there Smiley

Yeah, it could get messy for swaps like the Sweat Shoppe Swap.  Would it be optional, like the feedback comments?

HI!  I've got another question about swapping that I could not find the answer to.  Although, it really isn't about the process but about the information listed on our profile pages.

Will/can who we were partnered with be listed there?

Just wonderin', that's all.   Smiley

(And sorry if this is the wrong place for this question)
