Here is some KnitPicks yarn she dyed with Kool-aid! I adore the colors, and I couldn't be happier =3


She crocheted a daisy pillow! She did such a good job and I think it looks fantastic on my sky blue covers!


Some Christmas goodies my partner was kind enough to include which included some cute mittens which I promptly put on my tree and forgot to photography >.<

Bad day. I had to drive my mother to the doctor because her O2 sat dropped to 95% and she's been sick all week. I was 15 minutes late getting to the post office to ship Elizabeth's package (What post office is closed at 12:30 on a saturday during the holiday season???). And I almost got hit 3 times by people who can't drive and are scrambling for presents for Christmas.

Elizabeth's package made my day =] I guess that's the best way to receive it lol

Oh, woot indeed! I'm having what can be called the cr*ppiest week (month? season?) ever, and my silver lining came yesterday in the form of a package from inle_rah.
My goodness. It is just so freakin' awesome!

First of all, a batik handbag in colors that just lift my spirits so much, and koolaid for my nasty little dyeing habit:

And another lovely handknit bag, made from silknoil, with a batik lining, and as a bonus, York's peppermint patties, which are probably on the top ten list of things I miss about the US.


And last but most certainly not least, the most beautiful skein yarn I have ever laid eyes upon (posing with a bottle of Eucalan, which may well become another regular item on the list of things my dad will have to bring on his visits):

Of course I had to take it from both sides:

It is so soft and beautiful. When my husband suggested I make something for one of the kids I said that this one is for me me me. Not sharing. No way.
