Inspired by other posts I've seen on Craftster in regards to t-shirt quilts, I decided to make my boyfriend a sports quilt out of old t-shirts.  I found shirts at various salvation armies in the area with all of his favorite teams.  I also included our flag football team t-shirt and the shirt from the marathon he ran.  He loved it :-).

Please let me know what you think! :-)

Very nice! I'm kind of stuck on what to get my husband for Christmas this year. This might be the perfect gift. He has all kinds of old tees.

Definitely! You're right, the blank squares are the backs of the shirt. Each square is about 13x13 or 12x12, so the whole thing is about 6x8 feet.  If you make one, be sure to use fusible interfacing, because the t-shirt material stretches a little too easily.
