Here's some pictures of my latest journals!

I designed the pages using a bunch of different computer programs (Paint, Word, Photoshop and my trusting old scanner).

I laminated the covers myself, but the binding was done at the copy shop.  I would love to get a machine of my own, but they're a little out of my price range for the moment.  If anyone has advice on where to find a reasonably price machine I'd love to know!

So, the backdrop on the covers is vintage wallpaper with illustrations are from vintage ads.  The fonts were added using Photoshop.   ***To the best of my knowledge the images used on the covers are either allowed to be used and/or are in public domain.  Please let me know if you have proof to the contrary:)***

You can click on the link below the photo for a larger shot.

Too cute!!!!! I love journals, I've kept one constantly since about 6th grade, and everyone is always laughing at me for pulling one out no matter where I am.  These look so professional!

your journals and day planners are rad. I wish I would actually use a day planner.

Haha!  I know what you mean.  I start with the best intentions, but then I forget to add things or forget to check for important stuff.

Thanks so much!  I think I'll be giving some of these away as Christmas gifts this year.

Have you seen zutter bind it all machines? I have one, they work really well, they even cut through chipboard, records, CD's etc...

It depends how much you want to spend, mine cost me about £50, but like everything they are so much cheaper in America Sad (about £30/$60)

So you get an idea of how the result looks, my sister made this with my one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=207219.0
