Tonight I thought I'd challenge myself and try making one of these messenger bags for my niece, (for Christmas), for school or whatever she wants.

Im quite happy with the way it turned out  Smiley

Butterfly camoflage fabric on the outside and barb-wire fabric on the inside, some pockets for stuff.

Smaller pockets

Large pocket

with stuff inside as a demo

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the nice comments!

The camo fabric was on special at "Spotlight", a kind of craft, home decorating superstore.
The barb-wire was from a small craft store that specialises in patchwork fabrics. I got the black, but it came in a creamy brown colour also.(I figured I'd spent enough and jut got the black  Smiley )

The little creatures on the front started life hoping to be owls but something went awry, but I still like them, glad you do to.

take care
