So, I am going to be spending too much time in the car over Thanksgiving, but I was thinking I could be productive and knit or crochet some ornaments, then I thought, hey, why not make it an extened "weekend" swap... It would actually last for a week, and ornaments could be made of anything. Maybe we could make 2 or 3 (suggestions here please).

So, I was wondering if anyone would want to do a week long swap for ornaments to be crafted over Thanksgiving weekend. I know a lot of people are busy and this isn't for you if you are, but for those of us stuck in the car for hours, or just sitting at home passing out after dinner, maybe this will be fun.

What I am proposing is this: Sign ups will be from noon on Sunday 11/18 to noon on Monday 11/19, then I would post partners Monday afternoon and you will have one week to craft 2 (maybe 3?) ornaments and sendouts will be the following Monday-11/26 by the end of business.

So, WHO is interested?

2-3 ornaments is doable for me. I have to do some for gifts anyways so I think it would be fun to get some in return!

That's actually a good idea! I was thinking of playing with polymer clay and making some ornaments (i saw a really good episode of Craft Lab on DIY network about making "vessels" out of polymer clay that would work just as well for making ornaments!). Hopefully if this goes thorough I'll have a few of my other swaps out of the way by then.

Yeah, I have 2 swaps I want to send on first myself, so I am hoping excitement builds over the next week and I get wrapped up on those and I will start this like I said in the original post. Glad some people are interested!
