Hello all!
I have been so inspired this past month with all the wonderful posts and ideas here!  I decided to attempt at making my friend's little girl Dora's Backpack for her third birthday.  I did buy a backup, because I attempted this without a pattern, and because I can't really sew!  But yay!  I can return the store bought one!  There are many mistakes and imperfections, but there is a lot of heart!  And the little girl didn't seem to notice my mistakes!  As a working single mom, this really was an accumulation of many midnight work a thons!  But I think it was worth it!

So amazingly awesome!!!  I love the fabrics so much, especially the lining.  I now want to make one for my niece for Christmas.  You did a terrific job... I think it looks perfect!

"Baapack Baapack!!!"

So I guess you did a great job  Grin

I was off to save the world....until I was distracted by something shiny.
