Here is a nice easy knit, but not too boring.  Its an interesting constuction and the pattern is fantastic.  I will be using this again real soon.  Its a great introduction to short row shaping if you haven't tried it before.







This was knit in Paton's SWS natural russet.  I think the pattern highlights the self striping yarn nicely.

That hat is beautiful! I love garter stitch used sideways, like ribbing. I have a pattern for fingerless mitts that's knit in the same way, it's good that I can know make a matching hat. Thanks for the link!
