Yay!!!  Thanks so much for posting this and for giving out a free pattern.  That's so generous of you.  My husband just loves Nightmare Before Christmas (he used to have a pet rabbit that he named Zero).  I'm making this for his birthday, which happens to be this Sunday.  I'll post pics when I'm done.  I'm starting today!!  Thanks again!!

K, is anyone else working on this?  I'm almost done and I'm stuck!!  The part with the jacket tails makes no sense to me.  This part:

attach yarn to back of jacket startingat an edge
sc 6 across the middle of the back of the jacket
ch1 turn sc across
ch10 sc back down just like the fingers
slst over one then go back up the same piece 7 spaces then ch6 turn and go back down
slst next space then ch 13 sc down then slst in next space and ch1 sc7 up ch4 sc back do

The part I have trouble with is in red.  The numbers just seem random or something.  Like if I did it that way, the tails would be all different sizes.  Any suggestions?

Heh.  Nevermind, I'm an idiot.  I couldn't see the picture very well, so I decided to google it and apparently the tails are supposed to be all different sizes.   Embarrassed

thank you for sharing your pattern. I completed Jack last night and the had to make Zero as Jack was lonely. Zero is made with #10 crochet thread. I did write a pattern if anyone is interested. My granddaughter has informed me I must make Sally now.
