I'm in Lakewood too.  Odd
We should all meet for coffee or hot chocolate or something.  Smiley

BTW - regarding glass bead making - Orange art center has some really cool classes.  It's a bit of a drive to the east side - but not bad.  We did the one saturday glass bead workshop.  I highly recommend it.  I'd love to take the evening class - but I can't seem to fit it into my schedule Sad

I am signed up to take the glass bead making class at Orange.  I heard it is really good.  It's on Feb 26.  Edy who is teaching that class is teaching an intermediate one in Berea in March (one day Saturday workshop).

I am currently taking a glass fusing class at Breckville Center for the Arts.  They have really cool classes too.  I might take metalsmithing starting in March there too.  I love the glass fusing class.  It's taught by Sheree Ferrato from Verite Stained Glass. She said that she teaches out of her studio in Avon.  I hope to continue the glass fusing classes there.  I have so many ideas I want to explore with glass.

This is my first post here, but I've been lurking for a while now!  Grin

I'm from Cleveland...Tremont to be exact!

Are there any fun-type craft fairs or whatnot coming up? I did Bazaar Bizarre and had a blast. I've been making some stuff that I'd like to get rid of!

Tremont eh? I was in Tremont for years. I just moved to Ohio City about 6 months ago and can't wait until my lease is up so that I can move back. I still work there. At Lola. I've worked at the Hi&Dry (RIP) and Kostas (RIP).

I'm right down the street from Lola! I've never been there though...

I love Tremont. I used to live in Broadview Hts. when I first moved to the area...I hated it!

Hey there!  I am from the cleveland area but had been living in Boston the past two years.  In September I moved back to Cleveland (North Royalton to be exact!) and would love to get together and meet some crafty people!  Currently I have been working on glass bead magnets (I just can't stop!  They are so addicting!), paper mosaics and i just recently picked up an embroidery kit, so that will be my next venture.

I'm from the Cleveland area, too! I only know one other crafty person arround here. I need to meet more! My scheule is kinda crazy, so it's been keeping me from getting out to meet more people. I've gotta do something about that...  Undecided

Ok, then if we all want to do a meet-up then lets do it!  Lets make it something a bit in advance so we can all make sure to plan for it.  I am pretty open on evenings and weekends, so whenever works for me.  Also we should see where abouts would be a good centralized location for all of us....any ideas?

Me too! I'd like to be involved! All my friends think my craftiness is an obsession...it'd be nice to hang with some like-minded people!  Wink
