Wouldn't it be a lovely idea if they could be mailed to other craftsters (or swapped!) and then photos were posted of the owls sitting somewhere historic or significant in the new owner's town? They could be migrating owls!

And I think I'll be making 26 of them for my nephew, with the letters of the alphabet. (There are 26 letters, right? I can't remember.... Tongue )

how big are those guys?  And does the pattern for the banner owls work to make the stuffed ones?

I kind of have an owl junkie that I think would love some of those cuties.

Thank you for sharing.

Any chance of you sharing the pattern that you used with us? I tried to develop one from the moonstitches website but it just does not want to work right.

they are the cutest things!

Pictures of my owlies! One has a little embroidered face and the other is made with a washcloth.

Owlies!

This was so fun. My husband has these two sitting on my desk at work.

I just used the Tutorial Link and cut my fabric to somewhat match the shape of those pictured. I haven't seen a pattern, I don't think.

Some people are a bit... pattern-drafting illiterate, and others don't have the time required to make testers and check that their draft is accurate. So if anyone here has something drawn up that they used for a pattern, I know I would be one person who would greatly appreciate it.
