My nephew is 18 months old and is coming to visit me this weekend, so I sew a rabbit for him. I saw it at Flickr...so it is not really my creation, but I am happy anyway...

The fabric is from IKEA.

The eyes are small because I wanted to avoid buttons...what do you think??

I think he's adorable. And the bright colours are perfect for a toddler. I'm sure he'll love it!

Gorgeous! Very elegant, but still perfect for a toddler - the ears will make good carrying handles!

Thank you for your nice comments!!! I was worried to have a boring rabbit, because the first I made was much more expressive (as I said seen at Flickr, cannot remember exactly where...)

but I wanted to avoid buttons because my nephew loves eating small pieces  Undecided

Don't worry, I bet he'll come back to it. My boys loved push-button toys (and now love computers), but they still loved their cuddlies too. They go through different phases of exploring and investigating, then they need things that are more comforting and friendly. I still have to make new softies for my boys all the time!
