For the divider... very tricky Cheesy  I cut out the lining for the purse, and then I cut it in half (where the bottom would be).  I made a rectangle divider the length of the top part of the lining, sewed the bottom of each liner piece to the bottom of it.  Then I squished up the corners like you normally do and pinned it. Then I layed the sides of the liner at an angle on both sides of the divider and pinned down. Sewed up the sides, cut off the excess divider and then sewed up the squished up corners.  I'm sorry if that's confusing. I was getting confused just explaining LOL I'll see if I can draw a diagram later today Cheesy

it sounds like you did it the same way that I did my messenger bag.  in case anyone needs some visual aids, maybe the tutorial for that bag would help (just ignore the fact that the divider is a zippered pouch).

Thanks for posting your tutorial!!!  Now I don't have to make a diagram LOL  But that is almost exactly how I put in the divider! Cheesy

here's the jordy tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32204.0

I don't cut two pieces for the outside though.  I just make one big rectangle and cut out the "squares" (they turn into rectangles when you use one piece rather than two) in the middle.. it means less sewing LOL
