I'm glad others are using the idea. Even if you buy the fabric-you need so little that you can buy the nicer material. These happened to come from fat quarters and I could get 2-3 out of each one and 2 backings from each towel. Drea4545-I'd love to see them with bias tape. Grin

Here are a couple...

Thanks again for the fab idea.  It literally cost me about 75 cents a bib to make.  I can get 2 from each dish towel, and used scrap fabric for the front.  I have a huge stash of bias tape too.

These are just fantastic.  Okay.. so you got the towels at Target?  Target has dollar towels?  I haven't been to my Target in sooo long.. I guess I need to make a trip on over there...

Where did the bib template/pattern come from?

Can you tell I need to make some bibs this weekend?  I was going to go to Target anyway to buy cloth diapers to make burp cloths out of as well...

oooh. I hope I didn't come across as too agressive.  I just have so many questions - just tossing them out there!

I got the towels at the dollar spot at target a while ago, but I know you can usually find soft dishtowels fairly cheaply at most dollar stores.Wal-mart, etc.  I made the pattern from an old bib-I went to the thrift store and bought one for 40 cents. This was definitely a budget project!! That way you can get nice fabric for the fronts.I really like the fabric Drea 4545 used-asian and sporty!!
