I just bought my first-ever skein of handspun yarn (from hobbledehoy on etsy) and I love it. It's screaming, neon green with lots of other bits and pieces, including sparkly stuff. It turned up here (New Zealand) the same day the Daisy stitch scarf was on the Hot New Topics. That stitch was perfect for this...

It's really bright. It's just as well I live in a place with lots of oddly dressed people... I love it, and want to get some more of her yarn soon.

I LOVE that yarn! That stitch looks awesome with the colors! I don't think I'd want to ever take off that scarf!

Well, it's coming into summer here so I might have to... Also, I have a small confession. I have about 20 scarves, from chunky monkeys like this one, to wispy lacey things. I just can't stop knitting accessories. Probably cos none of my garments ever fit well enough. So, it will have to take its turn Tongue...

It has inspired me to want to learn to spin though... Her stuff is all great.

Hey, hobbledehoy was actually the featured shop on etsy yesterday!  You're right, her yarns are all beautiful.  I love your scarf.  I think I may have to try that daisy stitch!  That scarf is sure to warm up a winter day, right?

Oh, I have like 18 myself. I do tend to choose favorites for like a week or two them cycle through them again. It's been cold here for a while, so I get to wear my knits again!
