Yuck Shirt = Adorable Shirt!

This is me in my shirt I made for my bday lunch last friday

--- this  blue shirt was too short and I never wore it - in fact I hated it - but i wanted to try some hand - stitching so i cut up some white felt into little flowers and handstitched them on with blue thread - and voila i wear a little white tank top underneath and a shirt i hate turns into my favorite shirt - even my mom (who hates all my clothes) said how much she loved it - thats her in the picture!

This is going to sound bizarre but I think I've met your double -- when I saw this pix I thought you were the girl that came to my parents garage sale and told me all about cast iron skillets.

well - i do love going to garage sales... and i am all about le creseut right now - and I am sure I have said how much I want cast iron stuff -But, I doubt it was me! Because I long for cast iron stuff but I have none as of right now. I do know a good amount about it though.

That shirt is cute! I've used felt for embellishing my guitar book/paper/carrying bag thingy... Perhaps I will post a picture...

Yup, sorry the picture is somewhat crappy...

To do this, I just sewed the bag (simple enough). I took a photo of a guitar, used PSP to outline, printed, then cut out the pieces of felt. I used the machine to sew the pieces on (mainly because I hate/suck at hand sewing) and Tada! It's not great, but it serves the purposes.

that shirt is adorable! i love it. and it looks great on you too. the guitar bag is great too! i love how you put the pencil holder on the outside to. i hate digging around in my bag for pens and stuff.

i love love love the guitar bag - sweeettt - i have a cloth case as well as a hard case so it has a bunch of pockets for holding music etc - so maybe i will felt on my case - never really thought about it
