This is me in my shirt I made for my bday lunch last friday

--- this  blue shirt was too short and I never wore it - in fact I hated it - but i wanted to try some hand - stitching so i cut up some white felt into little flowers and handstitched them on with blue thread - and voila i wear a little white tank top underneath and a shirt i hate turns into my favorite shirt - even my mom (who hates all my clothes) said how much she loved it - thats her in the picture!

I love the treatment you gave your top!  You and your mom are dolls!

This is going to sound bizarre but I think I've met your double -- when I saw this pix I thought you were the girl that came to my parents garage sale and told me all about cast iron skillets.

That shirt is cute! I've used felt for embellishing my guitar book/paper/carrying bag thingy... Perhaps I will post a picture...

A long time later:

Ah here we are!

*crosses fingers hoping that the picture will work*
Yup, sorry the picture is somewhat crappy...

To do this, I just sewed the bag (simple enough). I took a photo of a guitar, used PSP to outline, printed, then cut out the pieces of felt. I used the machine to sew the pieces on (mainly because I hate/suck at hand sewing) and Tada! It's not great, but it serves the purposes.  Smiley

Yay for re-making shirts!

And I love love love the guitar bag! I, too, am a musician, and I've been thinking I need a bag for music. Such a good idea.

my glasses are jill stuart - there are a bunch of different shades in them - i orginally had the solid dark brown ones because i am too pale to have black frames i orginally got them at "for eyes optical" - they are a big chain  - then i went to another brand for awhile because they were cheaper - then lost those other brand- and found the ones pictured (my current frames) at "costco" - then were way cheaper than the original frames i got at for eyes - but the same exact style and brand (Jill Stuart)- and in the light tortisse shell color - thanks for the compliments!
