Wow,it must be hard to work with the tiny squares. Great job.I'd like to see a picture with something next to the square to get a better view of the size. I know it's 12 inches square but I think it's hard to picture it. (maybe a pen,or quarter etc.?

I love the idea!  Are you going with 2880 DIFFERENT fabrics?  If so ... wow.  I'm impressed enough with 1 inch squares!

Nope!  I'd like to, but I want to finish the quilt this decade! Smiley  I have around 500 fabrics, so there are repeats.

CraftMomNancy -- when I finish the next block, I'll post a picture of it with something for scale.

Holy Guacamole! That's amazing! I totally admire your patience! I've just started working on a new quilt myself and kept thinking, "Hm... if I make these rectangles bigger, this whole process will go faster..." Clearly, the opposite of your thinking!

It's beautiful and awesome -- can't wait to see the finished product!

Oh, don't doubt for a minute that I keep wishing for bigger squares too!  Smiley

I'm a co-author of a quilt blog, and my collaborator likes to take traditional quilt patterns and blow them up big and make central medallions out of them.  We are complete opposites in how we approach quilting and patterns -- it cracks me up sometimes.
