Very nice. I have a postage stamp quilt from some swaps here that I started, but it got back shelved. This is showing that I need to pick it up again! I love this so much.

Omg, this is awesome!!!!  Can't wait it when it's finished.  Smiley

I've seen pics of postage stamp quilts in books and have toyed with the idea of making one....just haven't tackled it yet....maybe seeing pics of yours will inspire me.

You are absolutely NUTS!  That is one big project, my friend.

I'd love to send you some fabric pieces, what is the best size to send?  Also, do they need to be washed first?

ETA: And, it rocks.  Forgot to say that.  It's amazing and you are too cool.

Whoa, kat! That looks amazing! Thanks for posting a preview. You are one ambitious crafter. When is your estimated completion date on this project? Are you doing it for yourself, or will it be a gift?

I'm impressed!

I'm not crazy enough to have an estimated completion date racky!  This is for me -- I'm probably going to use it in my living room.  The finished size will be somewhere around 5x6, depending on the borders I choose.

I am crazy, aren't I?  But you wouldn't believe how relaxing this project is.

(Thanks OY, I'll PM you)

You will be so proud of that when you're done. I'm glad you'll have it on display somewhere.

Thanks.  While working on this, I've been dreaming up a pattern in my head for ANOTHER postage stamp quilt.  How crazy is that?  The second one would be color graduated, like a watercolor quilt.  I have the idea that it would blend from red in the upper left corner, to purple in the lower right.  I'd alternate solids with prints (so that hopefully the solids could do a lot of the work of blending all the colors).

I need therapy, I think.

Heck, I think this counts as therapy!

(You can at least tell yourself that.  Cheesy)
