At least that's what I'm calling them. . .because after all, how many "Christmas" hair clips does one kid really need?  Wink

This kind of clip is the only thing I have found that will stay in my very fine hair, but it is hard to find them in colors I would like. This is a great idea for dressing them up. I hope you will share how you did it.

I think you could wear them for non-Christmas occasions too.

(Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner--Hub was out of town and both my munchkins were sick with colds. . .ack)

Thanks for the comments!  Basically what I did was wrap ribbons around the bare clips, as per the instructions here:  https://www.theribbonretreat.com/custom/modules/FreeProjects/PDFRibbonCoveredSnapClips.pdf
except a) I did it with 2 different-colored ribbons stacked together (1/8" ribbon on top of a 1/4" or 3/8", I think?) and b) I wrapped the ends of the clip a little differently.  But their method looks nicer and neater, so I won't bother trying to explain how *I* did it.  Wink  Then I topped the clippies with random buttons/ribbon from my stash.  Oh, and the weird 3-color clip was just wrapped with a printed ribbon.  (The ribbon was really cute "flat", but wrapped around the clip it just looks weird.)
