Here is a very cute bag that I JUST finished and I am very proud of it! It's my first purse made from a pattern and tutorial that I found right here on craftster Cheesy

The pattern is based on an old plastic bag that you use as the pattern itself. Here's the link to the tutorial:

Thanks queenofdiy!! The tutorial is pretty easy to follow, although I had a few minor complications with it...it was really fun to make though.

Here is the bag Cheesy Cheesy

Here it is all folded up...it's kind of bulky because I placed the pocket directly at the bottom and didn't think to leave a seam allowance. but hey, you live, mess up and learn!

Thanks for looking!! I hope you like it!

Wow you did a great job on that bag. How long does it take to finish that cute bag?

Thanks for your awesome comments so far Cheesy
It took me maybe three hours total but I'm not exactly sure. It very well could have been less if I sat down and did the whole project in one sitting.

I don't think it folds up very neatly at all. :S As you can see from queenofdiy's version, her folds up much nicer...but the pocket serves it's purpose as best it can Cheesy

Thanks again gals!
