Here are a few of my latest recons...

ugly fugly sweater before recon:

after:

Close up of stitching:

This is a skirt that I reconned... It's made from the bottom of a skirt that I trimmed years ago to make it shorter and the thick waist strap (or whatever you call it) with belt loops. I like the way it turned out even though it's not perfect. I really like irregular looking clothing Cheesy I also just noticed that on the one side it looks super uneven, but that's just the way it is sitting, and because I haven't attached a button yet...On second thought and third glance, it's totally crooked...oh well!

And an action shot with my second or third resized hoodie. I love how long it is. I also added the neon shoelace because I'm a little neon crazy.

Thanks for looking! Sorry about the Gigantic photos.

Now, back to sewing for me Cheesy I have a bunch of tee shirts to resize :S

I hate things that are on perfectly, I like some angles. I think the skirt looks fantastic.

the blah, blah, blah hoodie is really cute too. And geez... hoodie recon fanatic? amazing.

hehe yeh I love reconning/resizing sweaters because I always find myself with twelve giant ones lying around that I never wear Cheesy

Thanks for your awesome compliment on the skirt. I wore it today and I'm really happy with it Grin
