So I drew names for my dad's side of the family, and I drew my aunt!
I wanted to make my family presents, and was thinking about possibly making her a sewn dragon, since she's into medieval culture, dungeons and dragons, and magic.

I was trying to find ideas online, but most of them are cartoony children's toys, and since she's in her 20s, I wanted something more adult!

So if anyone knows of any other threads similar to what I'm looking for, posting them would be great! They don't need to be tuts I basically am just looking for ideas right now!

http://www.dancingraindolls.com/the_dragon_charmer.html I came across these cuties, more grown-up than I have seen. Most of the dragon/dinasour stuff I see is great for my two-year old little boy, but these may be more of what you are looking for. Enjoy  Grin

If she's into DnD, you may want to consider d20 jewelry, if she's at all the bling type...and maybe if she isn't. Smiley some of it is awesome.

here's my fav on craftster:

but also:

on one hand, it's more adult--on the other, it's a little more geeky because you wear jewelry out but keep stuffies inside. Still! Something to wear on game days!

I second the Dancing Rain Dolls suggestion. It's exactly what came to my mind when I saw the post title. I'm planning to get DD the ride on dragon toy kit for the holidays. I think they're beautiful dragons, and not cutsey at all.
