This is SO beautiful!  I am totally in love with this skirt.  You did such a lovely job on it.  I am going to immediately hunt down this book Smiley

So beautiful!!!  Smiley That skirt is the reason I bought the book, but I've never gotten around to starting it. It's not super appropriate for my workplace and I wouldn't really have any other place to wear it...but after seeing yours it's on my list of things to start in the spring.  Cheesy

What a lovely skirt!  How would you rate the difficulty?  I think it would be fun to make but I never have time for anything other then something easy to intermediate.

Quick question...how many balls of yarn did you end up using of the baby bee stuff?  I'm going yarn shopping later and I'd like to go ahead and get everythign that I need.  Thanks!

For size small, I had to use 3 balls of yarn, but I only needed a little bit of the third one.  It also turned out slightly larger than the measurements given with this yarn.  It worked for me, but just be aware that the sizes might be a little altered.

As far as the difficulty goes, the stitches themselves weren't difficult--just double crochets and chains.  You just have to pay attention to the pattern itself, particularly the increase rows. it's easy to skip one.  But once you get into the pineapple pattern section, the diagram really helps keep your place.  I tend to get lost in pages and pages of written instructions.
