Ahhhh!

I had washed some raw llama and set it outside to dry in a pan on the back table.

My darling father decided to turn on the sprinkler, leave the pan there, and the pounding water effectively turned my llama into a felt pancake.

Ah well.  I still have enough to finish my project, but it still hurts. x_X

The moral of this story?

Outside is a very, very dangerous place for fiber.

LOL they certainly do!  Though I've never had one stand up to me and chase me back inside  Cheesy

But yeah, I actually was painting roving the other day and it was nice and sunny outside...I considered putting it outside to dry, but I was too terrified something would happen to it!

It's usually too windy around my farm to put out roving, but I do skirt my fleeces outside.

My cat loves the fleece and has claimed some for his own:

Mullers, I don't blame your kitty...I had a fleece I slept on when I was a little kid and I was pretty attached to it  Wink

The squirrels around here know pretty well to stay out of our yard, thank goodness.  Killer cats live here. o_o

Unfortunetly, those same cats aren't as nice to wool as your kitty, mullers (and how handsome he is!).  They tend to grab a mouthful and run with it.
