You know you've been knitting too much when the sound of your own needles gets on your nerves!

This happened to me recently while knitting the Big Bad Baby Blanket from Stitch n Bitch. I knit the majority of it in only 2 days, and by the end I couldn't stand the sounds of my needles. Next time I'm going to take a little more time. Smiley

Have you had any "I've been knitting too much" moments?!

You know you're knitting too much when your fingers start to get very sore.

You know you love knitting too much when you don't give a crap.

You know you knit too fast when you have to put your needles down because your hands are hot. Wink

You know you're knitting too much when you give yourself a migraine.   Tongue

I actually managed to knit myself into a carpal tunnel recurrence when I got way too enthusiastic early on -- that was not fun, either.

You know you're knitting too much when you run out of yarn!   Shocked

(This has never happened to me.  And with my stash and my lack of free time, it never will.)

I'm trying to run out of yarn, but I doubt it will ever happen. Smiley

...when you start knitting in your dreams.

This has been happening to me lately!!

Last night I had this horrible dream that the sweater I was knitting tried to EAT ME!!  Shocked There I was sitting under a tree, humming and knitting a half-made raglan (top-down, of course) when all of a sudden the sleeves wrapped around my throat and the mouth (well, collar) said: "Huuuungry!..Huuungry!" Hungry zombie sweater...not fun.

I would hate to know what kind of internal, psychological problems this dream was reflecting. Or, even worse, the problems I'll have now!

You know you've been knitting too much when you get repetative strain injury in your wrists and you STILL dont stop until your boyfriend takes your knitting away with the words "OH MY GOD! STOP!!!!!!" because you're still doing it whilst complaining about the pain in your wrists  Grin

Yes. It happened.

KYKBKTMW...  You're over at a friends house, and you feel like somethings very, very wrong, and after a minute you realize it's because you're sitting there, watching TV, and not knitting.
