This must've been the quickest sweater knit I've ever done. Granted, I was fairly monogamous with this one, and the yarn was aran weight, but it still flew by rather quickly!

Here is a picture of it on me:

And another of the detail on it:

Pattern: Sweater #1 (which I've dubbed the leaf sweater), from Phildar Tendances Winter 06/07. It's issue No. 460

Yarn: Bendigo Aran in colour Seamist which is  a very pale green / aqua type colour.

Needles: I got gauge on 4.5mm for the main part, and i used 3.75mm for the ribbing.

Comments and Mods: Lots of mods. I altered the neckline so it wasn't as wide as the ones I've seen, added extra length, shortened the sleeves, changed the back neckline, and worked it in the round.

All in all, it was a quick easy knit. The only gripe I have would be that I found it very difficult to set in the sleeves as it was all reverse stockinette stitch. I'll just have to keep practicing!

Nice! Yours is one of the better ones I've seen. I've been lusting for this pattern for ages. Must buy the mag.

Omg, I love it. Such a flattering sweater! I really must learn how to knit - tried it a couple of times on my own, but my stitches are never even.  Too bad I don't know any knitter  Cry
But oh hey, great sweater! You can be proud to show it off on the streets!  Grin

That turned out great. I don't know if I could have done all that purling though. It looks great on you.
