I love the star pattern.  It's so quick and easy, even though as I got to the last five-ten rounds on this baby, they took at least half an hour.  Each.  But that's why I love crochet so much, I can stop in the middle of a round!
Anyways, I was just using up some stash yarn, and wanting to make a star blankie, et voila!  Candy cane stripes just in time for Christmas!

It's amazing! This is why I want to learn crochet so much, you can do so many different things with it Smiley

Oh that is beautiful but make sure you put this in the Star Baby crochetalong as well because they love seeing these starghans in there too. Oh and smushisweetbaboo if you go to the Star baby crchetalong on the first page they have the pattern for this star.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

That turned out great!  I love those star blankets, and the candy cane stripe is very fun!

I wonder if there would be a way to make one into a christmas tree skirt....

Oh, that's lovely.  Grin  It's terrifically bright.

I've been working on a starghan recently, and I'll tell you that row 38 is taking a while to get through.  So be glad that you finished this when you did. ;p

Thanks all!  I confess, I found the pattern online, but it was nearly a year ago, and I'm not certain where it was.  I wrote it down in my crochet patterns book, so I have the patterns I like when I want them.  Now, I just put it together automatically!
