I made this quick little fleece shirt for my minpin Sampson (he likes to think he's real tough, so I put a skull on it).  I didn't use a pattern, so it's a little crooked, but he doesn't seem to mind.  Smiley The skull was a stencil I made, and though the cracks in the design were not intentional, I like them.

He's really hard to take pictures of!

love. it.
I can't quite tell from the picture - is it velcro, or elastic, or tie or what?
I would love to make one for my longhaired dachshund Smiley

Oh wow, the people in your neighborhood better keep their lady dogs locked up, because he is a stud in that sweater.

He is a little stud. I have a min pin too, she's 12 though and she's kind of tubby. The shirt is nice, it looks really cute on him.

Totally cute!  Can you explain how you made it?  My mom is always looking for t-shirts for her chihuahua, but we have a hard time finding girly ones that cost less that $20.... (I have a hard time spending that for a shirt for myself, let alone a dog.... lol)

Mine's 11 and quite tubby! 16 pounds, he should be 9 pounds Sad.. I still want to make him a sweater, though..

thanks... it seems a little tight on him, and he protested it by refusing to play until i took it off him.  that NEVER happens; he wants to chase me around and chew my arms off 24/7 normally.  so i think i will make him another bigger one.  maybe this time with velcro so it's easier to put on.

for those asking how i made it, i just cut a pattern from a shirt he already had, but it ended up smaller than planned because i was rushing to finish it before christmas.  if anyone ends up making a shirt for their dogs, i'd love to see them!  Smiley
