My first Afghan

Here it is. I finished the afghan I was making for my father. I am new to knitting and there are lots of firsts for me. This is my first afghan and my 2nd major project.

My son really likes it.

I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn. It's a pattern from the Lion's Brand website. http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60607A.html?noImages=0. It was a fun project to knit.

The green is definitely appealing. That is part of the reason I wanted this pattern. Maybe that doesn't make sense, but I just think the combination of the pattern and the color worked so perfectly. And thank you. I take great pride in both the afghan and the little cutie.
