Here it is. I finished the afghan I was making for my father. I am new to knitting and there are lots of firsts for me. This is my first afghan and my 2nd major project.

My son really likes it.

What yarn and pattern did you use? It looks so soft and I love the large cables.

I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn. It's a pattern from the Lion's Brand website. http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60607A.html?noImages=0. It was a fun project to knit.

The green is definitely appealing. That is part of the reason I wanted this pattern. Maybe that doesn't make sense, but I just think the combination of the pattern and the color worked so perfectly. And thank you. I take great pride in both the afghan and the little cutie.  Grin
