I was reading another thread about swapping unwanted gifts, but what if you got a particularly HIDEOUS gift and just MUST recon it because it is that atrocious?

I thought of this the moment my dad handed me this fugly "thing" from his girlfriend. It's SO UGLY I can't even regift it to my hubby's grandmother!

So can we do a challenge like this after the Holidays?

Purdy Pleeeeeeeeeeeze?

Irregardless I am going to recon this ugly thing somehow!! LOL

Please, please, please share your recon no matter if there's a challenge or not!  I need inspiration for the family white elephant swag!

I think this is a great idea! No matter what the occasion, xmas or birthday, I ALWAYS end up with some crud from my Mum that no self respecting 95 year old woman would want, even one with a penchant for overly floral, gawdy things...

Would you believe I have never even THOUGHT of a recon for this junk?! I just kind of pile it in the corner thinking perhaps I might be able to palm it off on MIL when she is particularly annoying, but then, I just can't do it.... I mean, I can't have people thinking I actually bought this ick.

I second, third & fourth this challenge, if for no other reason than to get awesome ideas about what do do with the horrors of christmas past.
