This shirt is so easy to make, I wanted to share it with those of you who have dogs that get cold in the winter months.

Just get a pair of old sweatpants (makes 2 shirts Smiley). Make sure the cuff fits comfortably around the dogs neck. Cut it the length you need (measure from neck to tail). Then cut out the arm holes. This fabric doesn't need hemmed. Decorate if you want to. So warm and easy!

Sorry the pics are so grainy, but I think they show the fit pretty well.

Great idea! I would have a hard time finding a pair of sweats with an opening big enough to fit around my doggle's neck though.

What a sweet pooch you have!

Great idea. I saw them do something similar on a TV show where they used an old sweater arm. That still involved alot of finishing. Yours looks so cute and easy!

The a-line-ish cut is good beacause it is stuffed with a big stomach  Grin

Is your dog a min pin? I have one. They're supposed to be skinny, but mine has always looked like a red pig. She even grunts like one. I love you dog shirt though. I just wish mine would wear them. She gnaws it off as soon as I put it on her. I guess her fat will keep her warm.
