The other half was begging and begging me for mittens for a loooong time. I kept saying "I can't find a pattern! I can't find a pattern!" Finally, I decided to just make one up. They turned out pretty nice. They are actually nicer in person than they may look. The yarn is just a plain old grey wool.





You can see me standing on a step stool to take this picture. And you can see my crocheted slippers! Boy are those bad boys great! (pattern from here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=127333.0)
