I was wondering about that too, milwjamie! Thanks for answering kish Smiley

Oh Ma Rut!!! Is that a fir tree hairclip??! The one shaped like a fir branch with the flower attached?? I think I just fell in love with it  Grin  Adorable!!!

Yeah Smiley It's a brooch but can easily be converted to a hairclip. It's one of those "floral picks" you can buy at Michael's in the holiday section for about 50 cents. I clipped the stem off, glued that vintage plastic flower on it, then glued a clear plastic jewel in the middle, and added a pin blank on the back. It was my favorite thing in irasema's can Cheesy

I'd rather swing on the moon than a star.

Ooh! And question for everyone who made sculpey/fimo covered ornaments... how did you bake/make these?? Did you put the clay on the ornament then bake? Or how did you work that? I just have these awful visions of myself attempting to bake an ornament and having it explode or something  Tongue  Gosh I am such a nut!! But really glass in ovens freaks me out for some reason!

Polymer clay is baked at such a low temp, nothing is going to explode. You can cover the glass entirely or just parts of it and then bake in the oven, like normal. HTH

Thanks kishcrafts!!! I was wondering for a while. I think I will buy some ornaments tonight and try it out! Smiley

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having great holidays and keeping warm (or cool)! Smiley

I just wanted to post and let everyone know that we might have a flaker. I've given the swapper until Wednesday (two days from now) to send and if she doesn't by then, I will post a Call for Angels.

She has 3 partners, so milwjamie and I will need to find 3 angels if the swapper in question does not respond. Please let me know if you are interested! I had one swapper contact me a while ago about angeling so she will get first pick if she is still up for it.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had fabulous holidays and a Happy New Year's!

jennymichelson received from me a while back so I thought I would post pics of what I sent. She noted in her questionnaire that she was decorating her tree in a Nightmare Before Christmas theme this year. Needless to say, I had a blast Grin I didn't get an overall photo, but here are some of my favorites:

Can with Jack's face poking through...

Jack stuffie ornament...

Zero stuffie ornament...

Hand-glittered glass ball ornament with painted scene of Jack and Sally silouhetted on the hill...

Snowman Jack poly-clay ornament...

My favorite Grin Oogie poly-clay ornament...

Chalkboard poly-clay ornament that I handpainted the Christmas equation onto...

Assorted shrinky dink character ornaments...

Jack expressions stitchmarkers...
