My mum is looking for instructions for a 6 inch hand weaving loom. Also known as a weavett. Just the very simple square ones with pegs. Does anyone have a pattern for it theyd like to share or know where I can find one?

there is a photo copy of a Weave-It book on ebay:

1961 Hero MFG Co, Inc. Photo Copy of the Original Pattern Book of Wonderful World of Weave- It.

20 Pages counting front and back cover.

Patterns weaves include: Diagonal Line pattern, Reverse Diagonal Line pattern, Crossroads, Hourglass, checkerboard, and all-over pattern.

Many aprox. 24 patterns, to list a few:  Harlequin Pillows, Rose Trellis Afghan, Navajo Blanket, Baby Blanket w/ snowflakes, Baby play suit,

Gifts: Purse accessories, Man's scarf, Indian doll,  clown bean bag, Baby bottle cover.

Of for basic directions:

you might be able to find more by searching the www for weave-it or weavette or pin looms

Go to buxtonbooks.com  There you will find the original patterns for the 6" loom.  Also "google" it and you will find more!
