Ok, this is my 1st post.  I have been lurking around for awhile and think everyone that posts to these boards are some of the most talented folks I've ever seen.

This is my dd's homecoming dress, sewn from a Butterick pattern, with a few alterations to the style.  She received so so many compliments on this dress!  I am very proud of this work and wanted to share.

The bracelet was made from a tut I saw on here, but can not find the link.  My apologies for not being able to credit the correct creator.

Thanks for looking!

That's beautiful.  Do you know which pattern you used?

Thank you.  I am just so grateful for the comments.  It was just a joy to have her be proud to wear it.  The older sister does not have a crafting bug, and won't let me make her things.  Phooey on her - LOL!  Grin

I couldn't remember the pattern, but I looked it up.  It is Butterck 4842, view A.  We altered the top though.  Really all I did was pinch together and handstitched to make it look gathered.  We just thought it looked better, no other reason for the alteration than that.
