Again, many apologies for the blurry pictures. I couldn't stop sniffling while I was taking the pictures due to my cold.

This is my first try at what I guess you could call "wire wrapping" - I'm not sure if there's a method to "real" wrapping or anything, but I figured it was as good of a name for this as any.

The D-20 is from a "free" bin at a garage sale, and the bead below it is a purple crystal.
The chain is just some cheap thing from Claire's.

EDITED to add better, less-blurry photos. Cheesy

What do you think?

Well, from what I can see, it looks cute, are those numbers on the gem?

Maybe just take a picture farther away from you jewelry. Also, try 'close up' mode or 'macro' mode, most of the time it's noted by a little tulip/flower.

Hey, thanks. Smiley I took a picture farther away from it and got a much better result. The lighting in the dorms is just horrible.

Yep. The "gem" is actually a D20 die used to play role-playing games; most commonly, Dungeons and Dragons. Smiley

I find I relate more to Max & Ruby as I get older.

Memories, memories. All night D&D benders...multi dice lost under the sofa...

I am so gonna have to make one of these. It never occurred to me to wrap one of them. I used to wire-wrap crystals and other semi-precious stones for necklaces, earrings, whatnot. I think I'll go with a D4, one of the little green pyramids, and new age some earrings. Heh.

Good job on yours, and thanks for the idea!

I've never played, but the total nerdy geek in me has always been attracted by role-playing die.  They're just so lovely!  And I've always thought they made such pretty jewelry.  Good job!
