I knit the free pattern, "Molly's Headband", from Interweave Knits: http://www.interweaveknits.com/freepatterns/pdf/sum_06/Sweet_Somethings.pdf.

I followed the pattern exactly, except that I used a worsted weight yarn, Paton's wool, on size 7 needles.  This pattern was fun and easy, and I love the results!  The headband molds perfectly to the head.  Word of caution: think twice before you use a worsted weight on size 7's.  This mod worked for me because my head is large (23.5" around).  If you have a smaller head, stick to the recommended yarn weight and needle size.

That is So pretty! I've been wanting to wear my hair back/up with headbands, but most patterns/ready-made are so boring.

It looks beautiful, and beautiful on you! Smiley

I love it! I am printing the pattern right now. I need something cute/sassy to wear while i grow out this horrible botched hair cut. Thanks for the link! This is perfect.

So pretty! Almost makes me wish my hair was longer so I could wear it that way, too.
