wool ease might work, but I haven't used that yarn before so check the gauge. the pattern calls for 4sts/inc on 5mm needles, but I'm sure you could try it with thicker yarn and just cast on a smaller number of stitches in a multiple of two.

Haha my mum was reading this over my shoulder and said, "hey when did you make that?" - she thought the pictures were of me!  So apparently you are my long-lost twin...  Anyway loooove the beret thanks for posting the pattern, I'm planning one in purple!  Ooooh and it would be so great for xmas prezzies!

WOW, what a strange coincidence -- I saw a girl at a concert last night wearing a slouchy seed stitch hat in that exact colour! I really wanted to find a pattern for it too, so thanks very much!

First of all, the pattern is great, I love the seed and the color and it really looks beautiful on you. Great job all over.

Second, every time I see that first picture I think you look just like Victoria from America's Next Top Model, the current season. Gorgeous.

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

thanks! ha ha for a long time my friends kept saying I looked like Shandi from like season 1 or 2  of ANTM (I forget which one she was on) but I guess my hair looks dark in that picture, I'm more of a dirty blond  Wink

What a great hat! And the color is stunning on you - perfect with your skin.  Absolutely beautiful.

I just printed the pattern and will have to make one for my daughter for Christmas!

Thanks!
