Hello Crafterzzz!

Myself and my jewellery partner in crime Lady Kate have spent the week in our little attic room studio crafting, and here's what we came up with...

A few close ups....

Its made of pretty much everything but the kitchen sink, and it weighs a tonne! Love to know what you all think Cheesy

I love it and am the sort of chick who would actually wear it.

One critique, though: the blue button is off scale and, as such, demands a dispropotionate focus. (I think Gold Bear is kinda pissed off about it, to be honest.)

BTW, this sort of jewelry collage always reminds me of the beloved Game Fish by Larry Fuente (see http://americanart.si.edu/collections/interact/zoom/game_fish.cfm where you can zoom in for detail.) The Smithsonian used to have a big ad for this piece on the Metro platform at U St. and my brother and I would obsess over it when were were waiting for the last train after catching a show.

I'd wear that with a solid black top and bottom Cheesy and my chucks with rainbow shoelaces!

I'm hitting "this rocks" cause like...it rocks.  Cool

Oh wow heathersy, thanks for posting that link, I love stuff like that!

I totally know what you mean about the blue button, I'm in two minds about it. It would be difficult to take it off now because all the charms are attatched by threading them through chain with ribbons! I think i'll shuffle it about so that the button goes to the back and isn't so immedietally visible! Cheesy

Also, thanks Mizua!  Cheesy

that is QUITE a necklace!  Shocked I only wish I could pull off stuff like that. Are you actually going to wear it? I hope so! I actually like the big blue button, it contrasts all the tiny little things  going on in there. Awesome job
