Personal swaps are not encouraged or supported by Craftster.  This is only a thread to post pictures from your personal experiences.  Personal swaps are not and cannot be tracked in Swap Feedback on profiles and should not be linked to Craftster's Organized Swaps in any way.

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers!

Each month a new gallery will be started.  If you have received from a personal/private swap, within the month, feel free to post pictures here!

Idea for this thread

Ptarmic wumpus made this gorgeous scarf for me:

as modeled by my navy blue couch.    It's gorgeous!  I just have to find a way to keep DD from "borrowing" it.      

I sent her a crocheted doorknob cover, but didn't manage to get a picture before I sent it out.  I hope she likes it!

I LOVE that doorknob cover! Such a clever idea!

*bebe* and I are in the midst of a personal swap..... and here's what she sent me!

A pincushion souffle! My eyes almost burst when I saw it, it's SO CUTE! I couldn't stop admiring it! And it's got my initial on it...

See? A souffle. She also sent some super postcards from Wellington, NZ I love them! They were taken at night, so the city's all aglow   I'm getting tons of use out of this pincushion already, though I've been careful not to poke the turtle

elliebellie123 and I did a personal swap I ADORED her Monopoly dress she made for the Challenge and we agreed to do a swap ... here is what I sent her in return .... all she wanted was kool-aid ---- no way I could do that!


Ok so here are the goods
kool-aid ... 24 packs 11 flavors, and a box of single serve cherry
beaded dragonfly
wire wrapped turquoise pendant
triangular beads stitched together, feel free to take apart and do somethin else with
wooden flower beads
chineese-ish beads
beaded snowflake
eagle charm
stone carved flower
fabric fabric fabric
5 felt sheets
2 sticky back magnets (great for pictures)
beaded flower choker
7 random pieces of acrylic - great for decoupage I did one of a picture of my daughter  I use as a key chain
10 bags of beads
4 tubes of beads one is purple faceted circles, those are swarvoski crystals
and 2 placemats, I used this to make a purse, I posted it somewhere on here ...

and this is what I got!!!

I plan to do a full photoshoot soon, maybe this weekend! Her creation should truly be in a magazine!




She also sent the purse and necklace! Im such a lucky gal! Thank you ellie for such a fantastic personal swap!

The dress is going to be my costume next Halloween but if given the chance other than the big photoshoot I have planned soon, Im most definately wearing it more!!!

mimiw and I did another personal swap!  This time we swapped Christmas gifts for other people.

I made her the hat, and she made me 5 beautiful little tea wallets!  My friends are going to be so happy.
